We hope that the pictures will tell the story......... those of you know Matthew will know that we now have hundreds of photos to sort thro, so please be patient while we divide them into days.......

Setting off from the Scottish Parliament with the Provost & Miss Edinburgh

Good old  Bagpipes to stir the soul and inspire the intrepid cyclists on their long way.....

                                                             Ready steady go.......

                                                         Ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge
                                                                 and off they go........

Ann - whose job it was to keep Matthew on the straight and narrow
and a fantastic job she did too!
                                                                        Matthew & Pals

                                                                    A well deserved break
especially for Allan, who organised the whole event!
                                                       Men...asking for directions :-)))))

Still smiling at the end of Day One...
Matthew had very sore knees from pedalling too hard on his electric Bike
                                                           but..........
                                                    tomorrow is a new Day...........
