Connections.......

A lovely evening connecting two worlds.............

Months ago in China, I met a special little girl who needed a sponsor....in fact she was the very first girl I met when we first arrived in Da Mo village..the little sister of one of our girls, loved and cared for over the years by her sponsor, Audrey!

In the meantime Audrey had been sharing her photos and thoughts about "her Da Mo girl" with a dear lady in her eighties in Dunfermline. This lady decided she wanted to share her money with some girls in Da Mo to help change their lives.....and was excited to meet "her girls"
I decided that this little girl I first met in Da Mo would be one of her girls...sister of Audrey's girl...
so the 2 ladies could share the news together:-)

It often takes a while to build up the relationships between girls and their sponsors...so I could not believe it when, hours before these dear ladies were coming to the house to watch the new Da Mo DVD , a letter arrived from China, Da Mo...and from the very little girl I was thinking of!!!!!!!...to her new sponsor...
how did she even know she had a new sponsor??????

So, now these two very special people from the other side of the world are connected in the most meaningful way!
Jean has given money to see this girl right thro her education and to help with whatever she needs.

This has give Jean a new lease of life!!!!!!!

It will also give this special girl a new lease of life!!!!!!

It just made my day to be able to be the wee cog in the middle to enable this to happen:-)

Life is good!!!!!!!!!

For these lovely ladies, Jean, Audrey, Moira and Maureen
...
the Da Mo girls are close to their hearts. it was amazing to be able to share these connections in October, and to see them continuing here........

People's lives, worlds apart, but now closely connected......

There are many more special girls just waiting for someone to love and support them and just make that difference in their lives.
And wonderful and all as it is for our girls,
I think most would agree that it is more blessed to give than to receive?

OUR DUNFERMLINE LADIES ARE PROOF OF THAT :-)

Please contact us  info@hope4china.info for more details on how you can set up these special connections with girls in Guangxi from impoverished backgrounds.
